Ladies Single – Is Something Wrong with me Because I’m Single?

As single ladies still searching for Mr. Right, you may be wondering if there’s something wrong with you because you’re still single.  Being single is not a disease and you should enjoy the time that you are single because in the future when love finds you, there will be times when you’ll be pining away for those single days.

Single ladies who are seeking to find true love, seek first to find happiness in your current circumstances and all things will fall into place.  When you are frantically searching for love, you don’t always find it and what you find instead is settling for less than the best.  I know what it feels like to be lonely.  I was single for many years and did not get married until I turned 30.

You need a distraction to take your eyes off of the loneliness and pain; but you also need to take an introspective look and decide to accept the fact that there is nothing wrong with being single.  When I was single, I couldn’t wait to get married.  Then I got married and I couldn’t wait to have children.  We still don’t have children yet, but my point is that life is a journey.  The point in life is not the destination, but how we get there.  We sometimes waste so much time longing for the next stage in life, that we forget to let go and have fun exactly where we’re at.

Have fun as a single lady.  This is the time in life to hang out with your girlfriends and get your nails done and spend bonding time in that special girl talk.  Once you’re in a serious relationship with your special guy, you’ll be seeing less of those exceptional friends of yours.  Cherish the friendships you have.

When you have a pessimistic attitude about your singleness, it’s very unattractive to those around us, especially when you’re trying to find a love.  Being content with your circumstances does a world of good to your outlook on life and when you have optimism, you have a secret weapon in the dating world.  That special guy you’re looking for is also looking for a special girl with an optimistic attitude and self-confidence.  When you see all of your friends getting married and having babies, sometimes it can get depressing when you’re still one of the single ladies in the group.  But hold your chin up high and take a deep breath.  Your time is coming.

Be careful not to let your depression of your single status bring you down towards desperation and the dangerous act of settling for someone who is not so great.  I’ve had my share of bad relationships.  Believe me, it is so much better to be with the right guy than just any guy.  The headaches associated with settling for any old relationship is not worth it.  Keep going out on dates in your search for Mr. Right, but don’t get seriously involved in a dating relationship with Mr. Wrong.  It’s not worth it.  Enjoy the dating process and have fun.  Be yourself and keep a good attitude about your singleness.  Your worth as a person does not depend on whether or not you have a man at your side.  You are beautiful as you are and have a special someone out there who is looking for you.
